Ahh...we have finally been able to enjoy a few nice (but wet) days of real spring weather, and the birds have all come back...actually they've been acting like it's been spring for over a month now...what a tease!
Anyway, I have been experimenting a bit, painting mostly blackbirds. Above is my most successful blackbird painting (gosh I'm stuck on purple lately), and below is a triptych, of sorts, of some chickadees.
